Annual Report

Distinguished Personalities on and off the dais, Parents, Teachers and my dear children, a very warm welcome to each and every one of you to our Annual Day Celebration. It is with a sense of pride and extreme satisfaction I am presenting before You the Annual Report of the Year 2021-22. The Annual Report showcases the achievements and glories of our school, undoubtedly, but also makes us think deeply about our shortcomings. We have always been committed to create an environment in the school which helps the young minds to blossom and provide a platform for individual thinking and holistic development of the child’s personality. We set standards and goals for ourselves and strive to achieve them – be it in the area of academics, sports, discipline, leadership and more. Vidyaniketan Public School, since its inception in the year 2000, always aims to achieve holistic development of our children by all means. Vidyaniketan, as the name denotes “A Niketan of Vidya, a home of knowledge away from home” always take care of the nurturing of innate abilities in every child. During the academic year 2004-05 our institution was Affiliated to C.B.S.E. During the academic year 2010-11 the school had been upgraded to senior secondary (+2). The School has presented 16 batches of AISSE and all came out with flying colours with 50% A1 in all subjects. The school sent its first batch to AISSE in the year 2006. The result was marvelous with cent percentage. The consequent batches augmented their seniors in better spirit. Now the thirteenth batch has come out in flying colours, 8 Students with full A1 in all subjects. Each year We holds the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony to honour those of its students who have made the school proud with their brilliant efforts not only in the academic field but also in the co-curricular areas. Now, let us have a brief look on the curricular and co- curricular activities of the school during the academic year 2021-22.

The School reopened on 1 th June 2021 with new hopes and joy. We have well experienced teachers together make our teaching learning fruitful. The teacher needs to play the role of facilitator of learning and helping students turn information into knowledge, and knowledge into wisdom. Schools need to be porous and transparent, able to connect teachers, students, parents and the community to the wealth of knowledge that exists in the world. When parents establish a relationship with teachers it helps children do well academically. Teachers welcome the opportunities to get to know parents. We have the Open House System which helps the parents and teachers a lot. Open Houses and PTA meeting were conducted frequently. Apart from the performances in the curricular activities, we inspire our students to participate in co-scholastic activities because it gives them an extra edge and confidence to move ahead in the competitive world. Various Co-Curricular Activities are held under different Clubs to develop a child physically, morally, socially and mentally and to hone skills in co-scholastic areas. Regular Club Activities are held in which the students participate and display their caliber. The entire school is divided into four houses . Inter house competitions were held which included Dance, Music, Anchoring and what not which has helped us to pick out many an aspirants for the future world of performing arts.
